Save the date . . . August 13th & 14th

Well it looks like BBQ & Camp Fire wins! That certainly makes it easy for us all. I have picked a date which according to the calendar of events is not anyone's birthday or a holiday weekend. This is an all ages event. 4 legged & other friends are welcome. We have lots of space to pitch a tent for those who need a place to crash (or you can fight over floor/couch/chair space). Please check out the poll re: Mother/Daughter Weekend. Once we see where everyone wants to go we can look into what we will do once there (wine tours, shopping, spa, casino, etc). Let's mark this on the calendar for September 10th & 11th (again not a holiday or birthday & a month after the family weekend). I hope this all works for everyone, if not I am sure you will let me know, but I trust with this much notice it should. xoxoxo

  7. Hi All,
Stacey, the blog design looks great!
Jim and I are good for that weekend in August.
Brenda asked me to let you know that she and her family will be out of town for her niece's wedding so it will not work for them.
For the girls' weekend, my vote is Niagara so the London girls don't have as far to travel. Lots to do in Niagara, including a wine tour if that's what we want to do...
Let us know what to bring to the August barbecue.
    xo

  10. Alright I hope the potential new date in Sep suits Lisa, Angela & Aunt Donna . . . and the potential new date in Aug suits Aunt Brenda. If not well . . . maybe we go with the dates that suits the most? Glad you like the new look. Aunt Donna, me & the munchkin are heading to London for Sierrah's b-day party so I will take you up on that tea! As for the votes it looks like Niagara is winning . . . is there a wine tour season? Will we miss it if we go late Sept? xo

  11. I checked and there doesn't appear to be a season for Niagara-on-the-Lake wine tours - September should be fine. If the weather is good, we can actually use their bicycles to tour from 10 to 5. They give us a map and full day use of the bike. Cost is $89 per person. Would have to check to make sure they have enough bikes for all if that's what we want to do.
