Good Morning to all Mckown's

This is such a great idea. THANKS GIRLS

I saw Stacey & Tim yesterday and am very excited for them ................... and to be a Nana!!!I think this means that now I can start to shop ...... YAHOO!I love it that they are on the next road now. I am starting to see them more often and once the baby comes it will be so convenient for us.

Michael has been in Guelph for a week and is doing his best. I spoke to him yesterday and he was feeling better than the day before. He says he feels better every day. He is very determined and very confident in his success.

Chantal just got a new job working with an insurance company and has been enrolled in courses that she will be attending throughout the year. She is very excited as she has just moved in with her boyfriend (Brian) who is an electrician. He got the family approval at Terry-Lynn and Bruce's wedding (Steven's niece) last month. We all know what that is like for someone lol

Steven is working at First Place Trailers and Powersports. (Brighton) He really likes his job. He is now into the world of games. He just stated playing a PSP. The first of many games to come I am sure........


I am just happy to be on here and to be able to catch up on what is going on with everyone. Not much happens in my house unless you want to talk about rabbits in the yard or me watering the plants. lol

Actually, tonight we are going over to Norma's for a Bar-B-Q. I just got a Nintendo DS and I plan to kick her butt in arachnoid.......LOL

(We got these games to keep our hands busy.) quitting smoking

So, i need feedback on my new username...lol.  J'oz like "Jaws"???  Get it?  Lol.  I think i am losing it...

12 Days!

Well 12 days and counting.  This is an awesome idea so thanks you to Stacey... ( not sure if anyone helped with you...sorry...lol)  Everytime i read this it makes me cry.  It is becoming more real day by day.  We are planning a trip to Bellivelle again next week so i can say my goodbyes... that is going to suck big time.  I know that most of  you are behind me and that this is going to be hard on everyone.  I am asking you all to get Skype so we can stay in touch face to face.  It is free and all you need is a  web cam and a mic.  This is going to be hard but i think it is the right decision for Sierrah and I.  A new start with someone that loves us unconditionally.  I have nothing but positive thoughts about all of this.  Leaving all of you will be the hardest though.  I  love you all very much.  I wish some of you understood a little better what and why i am doing this but it is too late for that now.  Those of you behind me, thank you.  I will need all the support i can get.  If i dont get a chance to see everyone before the 6th....please know that we love you, we will miss you more then you know and we NEED you to keep in touch!

Happy Anniversary Aunt Lorraine & Uncle Jim - I have so much respect for you's both and love you very much!

Not much else is new with me - obviously, Jackie and Sierrah make the big move in a couple weeks! This blog will be a great way for them to catch up with everyone quickly, so lets keep it up!

Ashley, congratulate M for me - she's going to be a hormonal teenager before you know it! Good luck with the renos, too bad I can't be there to help (thats sarcasm lol)

Well, its back to work for me - my job is going really well, but lunch always flies by!

I think this is a great idea.
Thing's here with us have been good. Makayla graduated yesterday from SK and will be starting grade 1 in September. Blake is growing like crazy and has a very bad temper. :) Ben and I are doing Reno's right now in the kitchen. Dad is in the process of building us all new kitchen cupboards and doors. So far it looks amazing, so thanks Daddy. Next is the bathroom and then the basement. ( will it ever end???)

Ben and I are going away for the whole weekend next weekend to Bobcagon for some off roading thing. I'm just happy to have the whole weekend to myself. Makayla and Blake are going to Mom's the first night and then Diane's( Ben's mom)the next. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!

Tears of Joy

2nd day into holidays & loving it!

I went to my second dr's app't yesterday & the dr was able to hear the baby's heartbeat. It was a huge relief for me (even though I already had a normal ultrasound on Jun 1st) & needless to say I was a bit emotional over the news. So I have given myself permission to get offically excited! As of today I am 11 weeks & 2 days along . . . which means my due date is Jan 10th.

Thanks for all the emails & posts already. I am glad you are all on board w/ the blog idea. I have added some dates to the calendar of events & sent more invitations.

I was just speaking to Mom & she thought Jaclyn & Sierrah were coming down this way next week. I am hopeful that is the plan so I get a chance to see them again & say goodbye!

Well I am off to get some blood work done & stop in @ Walmart. Angela has invited me for dinner (& she has fresh strawberries, picked yesterday - yumm!) & then I am off to see "Hangover" w/ her & my friend Honey.

I love that we can keep up to date with everyone and avoid all the crap in Facebook!
It seems kind of weird to see the picture of us from Sutton 1965 which I suppose means that the 6 of us are the core, senior members of the McKown family now and that just doesn't seem right! I know I'm not old enough...
Jaclyn, I can't believe you have only 3 weeks left before you and Sierrah start your new adventure. We wish you nothing but happiness honey and sincerely hope that your choices turn out to be as amazing and exciting as you expect. We only met Sebi briefly but he does seem to be really nice and the adoring partner you deserve. Just remind him that you have a huge number of family members here that will hunt him down if the need arises! LOL
It is reassuring to know that you do have Aunt Viv there also.
We will not have a chance to visit before you leave but will certainly call before then. Have a safe trip & keep us posted with new photos and stories. A big hug for Aunt Viv when you arrive!

Hi everyone, what a great idea...way to go Stacey. Wow, it looks like it is going to be a HOT week. Finally, Lorraine, the heat you've been waiting for.
Back to work Monday morning, I wish the week was two days long and the weekends were five days long. It was a lonley drive to work this morning, usually I take Declan to school, but he finished school on Friday so I will be driving alone for the summer. Well, I am going to get at it and will look forward to checking this site on a regular basis.
Jackie, I don't know if I will get up to see you before you leave but I will try my hardest.

Keeping in Touch

Well Stacey i think that you have done a fine job of setting this up. Even though we have phones and cell phones and email address and now facebook here is just one more thing to bring us closer together.
In keeping up with my newest accomplishments Wade and i have finally finished the "build int he morning play in the afternoon" jungle gym set for the boys so if anyone would like to come over and play they are more then welcome to. declan still wants to go to the park though!!
Our little family is doing well and everyone is growing like bad weeds.
I actually spoke to my father today for fathers day although he did call me (lol)
i also spoke to my little sister tonight and there is a possibility that she may be coming to Trenton this summer to visit her boyfriend which means i may get a chance to see her. we have to spoke face to face since i was 14. that's a long time.
well it is very late mostly i am just writing here so that i can say that i checked it out and that it was cool cause i knew it would be. as great as it is that Alister sleeps thru the night i wish that i could go to bed early so that i got the same rest that he does....damn night owl blood that i have.
oh and ladies thanks for the night of bingo i had a very fun time...my husband did not after all shove paring knives into his ears but i certainly heard about the conversation when i got home. lol

Well just thought i would let you all know that we have booked our flights!  We leave at 8:30 pm on July 6th.  The day is approaching very quickly!  I know we didnt get to see everyone when we were down but hopefully we can make it up there one more time to say our goodbyes..   :(

I know a lot of you think that i am crazy but i am following my heart, taking some chances and am ready for anything...even the worst!  Sebi is amazing which i am sure a lot of you also thought after getting to meet him in April.  He is ready and waiting for us to arrive.  We are moving out of his loft place and into a house in Sept.  Moving again...will it ever stop??

Anyway....we are here at Jacks until the big day and would love some visitors if anyone is able to make the hike down this way!  lol.

Hope this gets up on the wall...not too sure what i am doing on here.

Welcome

Welcome to our family blog!

I have never done this before so I am open to all suggestions, ideas, etc. The idea behind this blog is to simply keep in touch & know what is going on w/ everyone! Some of us do a great job keeping in touch, others . . . not so much.

So the excitement around here . . .

Tim & I are on holidays! YEAH! I am off for a week & he is off for 2 weeks. We both eased ourselves into holiday mode last night. He by doing some fishing & drinking w/ a buddy. Me by having a mother/daughter night w/ Mom, Aunt Lorraine, Aunt Norma, Lisa & Angela.

Uncle Jim made us a awesome dinner on the BBQ & then we went to the late BINGO. Between the 6 of us we (well they, not me) won 4 games. So we each walked away w/ $29. Not bad eh?! You can tell when you are w/ a professional BINGO player . . . they come equiped w/ tea, candy, dabbers & tape for everyone. LOL! Any guesses who that may be?

Anyway I hope everyone takes time to use this blog & I look forward to your input.
